Azerbaijan is a country, in which has valuable cultural assets and historical artifacts suitable for cultural tourism. Besides from the museums and some pre-historical and archeological sites tours, the cultural tourism has gained momentum recently. In particular, it is possible to experience the samples of the oldest settlement areas in the world, as well as the cities, which haven’t lost their traditional characteristics, and the places renowned for handcraft. The institutions called as “Berpa” were founded so as to protect and renovate the mausoleums, graves, buildings, tombs, and other historical places.
